I feel that would be true regardless of who led the USA for the next four years. After all Hillary had demonstrated no adeptness at dealing with international problems.
Trump is just one man and he is surrounding himself with some very capable people on the foreign policy side so might very well end up doing a good job of it. Not that I think he has a clue what to do or not do by himself but he appears to be smart enough to sub that task out to people that are competent.
" Wishful thinking" I'm sure some will chime in but it is the best face I can put on it today.
In 7 weeks, you'll be responsible for 330 million lives, and you can't think of anything better to do than tweet about a comedy show. You know that actual lives are at stake, right?…Do you know how many trans people were murdered since Election Day? Do you know how many veterans killed themselves? Do you know how many children went to bed tonight without enough food to eat?”
Well, at least the number of trans-gender people murdered since election day.
I really don't see the benefit of your post. Would you like to enlighten us? Just throwig a question back is a lazy approach to discussion. I might be guilty of that, but I thought you were better at debating than that.

It is your post that was lazy wood-burner. It quoted an overt assertion that Trump was responsible for things that have been brewing for years in the USA for a variety of reasons. You have now, apparently, backtracked onto the single issue of trans-gender people being harmed/killed in greater numbers since the election of Trump. Okay, then, can you point to evidence of this single issue please? If you can, I will be happy to accept it.

A crash is inevitable - it will probably blow in the earlier stages of Trump's presidency

You were debated to a standstill on that other thread. Poor form to just move it over and start again.

Actually VT I will return to that when ExxonMobil next report earnings - when they will again disappoint. Because, unlike your opinion masquerading as fact, I am more interested in actual reality of it all.
On this thread you should be discussing how Trump plans to deal with such challenges - a good indicator of how he intends to go about this is his appointment of Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State

This you tube video is so funny - you just have to watch it and laugh.... this is the American President elect..... the soon to be leader of the Western world... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDrfE9I8_hs
I won £350 betting on trump to win it was the first time I have ever placed a bet in a betting shop, I think no question I would have voted for him over Hillary, hopefully, he will join with the Russians and others to fight our real enemies jihadis.
Our big problem in Europe is traitors opening the door to jihadis, trump understands that. I'm looking forward to his presidency

Congratulations jonny2mad, I made £2,400 on my Trump bets plus £40 on Brexit. Not bad work!!!
Just placed a small wager on Le Pen but not convinced she will win even if I have a sneaking suspicion that she could pull it off.
Peace always has been and always will be an intermittent flash of light in a dark history of warfare, violence, and destruction
well done beria, I should have bet more and certainly should have bet earlier, the odds when he first ran were incredible and a friend of a friend put a £1000 on him when he first ran, he personally knows trump, the odds may have been a 100 or more to one.
I was thinking about le Penn but she's not as sure a thing as trump I may bet on her but the odds are not great so may do it closer to the election. it was the first time I have ever placed a bet in a betting shop I knew he was going to win.
I was talking to the bookmaker and he said it was funny how some people were certain he would win, even though all the experts thought he didn't have a chance

Beria, me and you can watch all the clips with people laughing at trump and saying he didn't have a chance and at the time we knew he would prove them wrong. I actually watched his rallies and Bernie's and Hillary's and you could see they were underestimating him
