Millions may well vote for trump, but voting for trump is stupid. They don't have to vote for clinton as an alternative, they would be better not voting if they are just voting for the less bad one (in their opinion) Voting for trump because they are hacked off with the alternative is not a thought through action.

I repeat, have you read Greers post? He explains why core policies that Trump advocates would materially benefit wage earning Americans. It is therefore anything but stupid to vote for him.
it may turn out that he is a con but the working classes know that Clinton is just more neoliberal and warmongering bullshit. Trump advocates alternative domestic and foreign policy goals.

Fed up with all the kabuki circus that is the US Presidential election?
Someone else who is similarly unimpressed is Charles Hugh Smith:

Charles Hugh Smith wrote:Why is "nothing good can come of this" good? Because ridding the nation of its political corruption will require hitting bottom.
Just as an alcoholic or drug addict is incapable of making any truly positive changes until he/she hits absolute bottom, so it is with our tolerance of a corrupt political system that is poisoning the nation, one injection of corrupt cash, collusion and pay-to-play at a time.
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools - Douglas Adams.

All (esp. recent) US presidents have been 'cons' inasmuch as they have said many things before being elected and done precisely the opposite once the gullible have put them in power.Lord Beria3 wrote:it may turn out that he is a con
Mark these words. Trump will be a con. Clinton will be a con. Big, fat will.

Well, one thing is for certain, the media and Washington are terrified that he may not be a con.
So, to your average voter has nothing to lose by giving Don a chance. Only Trump knows if he is a con or not, everybody else, including you, are just guessing.

Like Obama and his 'change' con. Both his supporters and his detractors believed it.

Whatever trump advocates is one thing, his promises are another, you should know that the one thing trump does is tell lies, continually. He for instance stated that if Clinton won she would allow immigrants into the US at a rate that would mean 650,000,000 (yep, 650 million) people would arrive in ONE WEEK. That would mean the combined populations of Mexico, Central and South America and the population of Senegal would have to arrive at a rate greater than the total passenger aircraft move people about the world at the moment.Lord Beria3 wrote:I repeat, have you read Greers post? WTF has Greer got to say that's so authoritative? He sounds like another idiot.

We will just have to agree to disagree on this one.
Sorry, so are you saying if people don't worship greer they shouldn't be on PowerSwitch?
Anyone who can't see trump is just a bullying snake oil merchant needs to wake up.

A large proportion of the people voting for Trump are not doing so because they unable to see he is a snake oil salesman. They are doing so out of desperation and having nothing left to lose. Those people who are unable (or, rather, unwilling) to see that need to wake up. All indications, thus far, are that this is not happening.
