Only in the winter. During the summer we might pop it in the fridge for a few minutes before drinking it!! ;-)

Yes, that's what I was thinking mainly.

Back in '70s I spent quite a bit of effort in the campaign to get lead out of petrol. 40 years later it does seem to be a shame to find it in drinking water in the most technologically advanced nation. But that's capitalism.

That is a very good article except for the bit about us Brits "beating up on" (horrible expression- sounds like you're standing on them and beating them!) the Nordic countries. I would say that they are held in high regard by most people in the UK, apart from the high alcohol prices of course!

Don't be silly, those Norwegians are damned commies, I've heard Americans say so.

As a disclaimer, I do like Norway a hell of a lot (although we mustn't forget the role oil has played in their prosperity). They work full weeks but they seem to have more time somehow; certainly more breaks from work. I liked seeing their king out doing his shopping. I liked seeing men and women in elegant evening dress using the tram. Their alcohol laws (and prices) are odd but apart from that, it's a country I'd live in happily.

American cops are very brave - especially as they have guns with which to defend themselves against young women who have mental issues or who have known disabilities.

very brave = cowards, yellow bellies, pathetic arseholes, shitheads.

She's poor, she's black, she's a woman, she's in the US. It would be difficult to get lower in the heap.
