We consider it the Evolution of the "American language" rather then being stuck in regency archaic inadequacies from the old country.3rdRock wrote:That's rich coming from someone on your side of the pond where the corruption of the ENGLISH language is carried out with such gay abandon.vtsnowedin wrote:Just whom are your directing that at ? Over the last 30 years , China (with hardly any foreign aid) has taken 800 million people out of poverty. Since 1965, African countries have received the equivalent of a Marshall Plan in aid ($20bn) every year. The Marshall Plan that led to the rebuilding of Europe after World War II only lasted five years, Africa’s ‘Marshall Plan’ has lasted 50 years. Yet there are hundreds of millions more Africans living in abject poverty now than there were 50 years ago when the flood of foreign aid started.
Pretty much sums it up, but still the muggles will wallow in their guilt trip

whatever else may be said about that site, the following table of population densities and how that may be arguably used as the most equitable means by which such migrants are resettled, is pretty instructional. Not that I think this should or will happen, in any event.fuzzy wrote:And just in the the interests of balance - J2M is going to love this site:3rdRock wrote:http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfre ... ela-merkel

Yes. Quite frankly, that says it all, and those who are advocating more immigration into this country should STFU. Seriously they should.Little John wrote:whatever else may be said about that site, the following table of population densities and how that may be arguably used as the most equitable means by which such migrants are resettled, is pretty instructional. Well, you've succeeded in telling everyone else what they can do, how about telling us what YOU would do about the refugee crisis.UndercoverElephant wrote: Yes. Quite frankly, that says it all, and those who are advocating more immigration into this country should STFU. Seriously they should.
Forget about the problem of immigration into Europe for a moment, as insurmountable a problem as it is turning out to be.
What would YOU (or any other forum member for that matter) do FOR the millions of unfortunate people in the ME and Africa who currently find themselves in such unenviable circumstances?
