Blog: Leaving Babylon

Post by Mr. Fox »

I've been reading this one for a few years, now, so I thought I'd share it here.

The author - Leavergirl (Vera) - writes consistently well thought out posts on a range of subjects that may be of interest to Powerswitchers, including such things as agriculture and it's history, sustainability, power, equality and community, to name but a few.

She's very much a 'systems thinker' (to borrow the late Dr. David Fleming's phrase) and responds to comments and criticism with a grace and humility that make her stand out as an exemplar of how blogging should be done.

There was a bit of a gap in her blogging a year or so ago, while she went off and lived in a variety of 'intentional communities' around the US, returning to relate much of her experience in a series of thoughtful and lucid blog posts.

Anyway, I hope someone will enjoy reading her stuff as much as I do. :)
