The exit of Romney from the upcoming campaign most immediately benefits the other favourites of the party's establishment wing, including Bush, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, Florida Senator Marco Rubio and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.

I'm still casting around for some viable candidate. My wish list for the New Hampshire debates at present includes Jeb Bush, Susana Martinez, Mike Pence and Scott Walker.

Not this Scott Walker at least as he was born in 1968. He is the current governor of Wisconsin and has won three elections in four years as his opponents tried to recall him over his curtailment of union powers.

Is BO at last going to do something positive about climate change?

The White House’s $4 trillion budget proposal released Monday includes more than $10 billion for programs to both mitigate and adapt to the effects of global climate change, a signal that President Obama will make climate a central theme of his last two years in office.

For starters, it's small change from $4 trillion. Secondly, it's about adaptation as well as mitigation, so halve it. Thirdly, carbon capture is a favoured option; it don't work. Fourthly, it has to go through Congress, so it's a dead duck. Fifthly, Obama is a paid liar.
