Are these young Greeks likely to vote?

From what I have read, they are, because, they have something worth voting for Or, at least, they believe they do, for the moment. If that belief is betrayed, either by elites who deny them their vote, or by Syriza itself if it bends to those elites once it gets into power, there will be bloodshed.

The general feeling seems to be that while Syriza are way out in front, they are unlikely to win an outright majority. IMHO they will have to enter some horse-trading, which might leave hardline Syriza supporters somewhat disappointed.

Yes, they should be the largest party, but what then?

There might just about be an anti-EU majority, but if 6% of that vote belongs to Golden Dawn then you have another situation where the status quo survives and a large and growing number of people have steam coming out of their ears.

The Greeks amongst us may conclude that Syriza is doing rather well. Interesting times ahead.

Syriza %37, Nea Dimokratia %25. If the exit polls are confirmed Syriza might just get an outright majority.

Yes indeed. Looks like they could be having a clear majority. 38% should do it. Be interesting to see if the leader has the guts to do what pundits expect him to do?

Yes, very interesting. And I think there is little doubt that Syriza will do in office exactly what they said they'd do. They are going to win this election precisely because they refused to just do what the EUrocrats are telling them to do. They know that whatever happens, Greece is not going to be kicked out of the EU.

Two seats short of being able to govern alone.

Not sure how stable it will be.
