Did you happen to see Elisabeth Warren (AKA Liawathah ) make a move during the budget stopgap debate trying to make a name for herself ? The jockeying for position and move away from Obama has begun.

I don't know who is leading who here but we both need to take everything we see from our media with a large grain of salt.
Perhaps "mistrust until verified" would serve.
