Well possibly but don't they also generally believe that they're the best thing since sliced bread and everybody else is a bit stupid? So, once recruited, they'd probably just roam around doing whatever they damn well liked.

The government did not consider recruiting them. A single operative in the relevant department proposed it as a possibility and it was immediately dismissed on the grounds that psychopaths were too dangerous and unpredictable.

So, yes, there is a record of it having been proposed. But, that is quite a long way from a "government consideration".

That's not to say, of course, that they are above such policies in all circumstances. We only need to take a look at the history of UK and US foreign policy in much of the Arab world for evidence. And that worked out really well...........didn't it.

I remember reading once that the easiest way to understand the nature of how a psychopath's mind works, is to think of someone whose behaviour is not restrained by a conscience.

Could be handy at a time when tough / unpopular decisions have to be taken and immediately acted upon.

Just saying..

It's certainly fair to say that psychopaths can have an evolutionary advantage in times of crises. However, that advantage, insofar as it is intentioned, is almost always accrued to themselves alone. Any advantage that may accrue to those around them is purely coincidental.

Do you know how to spot the psychopath in the room ? Fake a long dramatic yawn, psychopaths feel no empathy for others and consequently don't "catch" a yawn.

Apparently they don't blink very often either, which is a bit worrying because neither do I.

Psychopath test.........One question.

A woman, while at the funeral of her own mother, met a man who she did not know. She thought he was 'amazing.' She believed him to be her dream partner so much, that she fell in love with him right there, but never asked for his number and could not find him. A few days later she killed her sister.

Question: What was her motive for killing her sister?

Answer: She was hoping the man would appear at the funeral again.
