The researcher believes it was an inside job because there was no evidence of a break-in. “They’d gained access to the office and taken my data, so out of the number of filing cabinets there was one drawer emptied and it was emptied of my data. It had to be an employee of the council,” she contended. Adding insult to injury, the report was never published and according to Holt, “the council even tried unsuccessfully to get the researcher sacked.”

“I was subjected to the most intense personal hostility,” the researcher revealed. “There were threats made from a range of sources. I’ve never seen back-covering like it, and I still feel extremely angry about that.”

According to the report, the researcher, who worked for the Home Office between 2001-2002, was “subjected to personalized hostility at the hands of officials” when she brought up the case.

The researcher also told the committee in a closed session that two senior officers threatened her, saying “Wouldn’t it be a bad thing if some of those men [a child-sex grooming gang] found out where you live?”

As it happens I agree with much of what you said. I just didn't like the way you said it. Obviously you can say whatever you want , however you want.

And yet, here people like you are, even now, attempting to mitigate, to minimise, to dilute the truth of the matter that this is more than a mere few rouge males, this is also a cultural issue. There are communities of lower white working class people who have been under siege in these places for literally decades. And, whenever they have complained, they have been labelled as thick, white trash bigots by people just like you. And you wonder why they are turning to the only people who are, on the surface at least, appearing to listen to them? We all know what the extreme right's agenda is and they have to be stopped. On the one hand, SC, we appear to agree on the rise of the right and who will ultimately benefit from their current divide and rule policies.

On the other, you appear to be suggesting that only the Asian communities are guilty of these despicable and unforgivable acts against children.

Child abuse (especially on an organised scale) has always been an issue in this and every other country and will probably continue to be so, especially, I suspect, for those amongst the 1% who can afford to cover up their heinous actions.

I am not attempting to turn a blind eye to these horrendous crimes because they have been committed by members of a minority group and I hope that the perpetrators will continue to be flushed out and severely punished.

Bullshit. Whilst there is and always will be a predominant, though not exclusive, issue of male dominance in sexual crimes, one of the main marks of a civilised culture is the extent to which that tendency has been tamed and corralled. For all of its other many and varied faults, too numerous to mention here, the indigenous culture of this country has, to a significant extent, achieved that taming and corralling, though by no means completely.

However, some of the cultures that have recently been imported to these shores over the last few decades are literally centuries behind in terms of such cultural development and have been allowed, unchallenged, for fear of appearing racist, to continue with their vile cultural attitudes and practices by the pathetic, neo-left liberals I mentioned earlier. Furthermore, that lack of challenge runs the risk of this shit polluting the host culture as well, in turn undoing centuries of positive cultural development. Shame on them and shame on you now for trying to dilute the cultural blame and for not having the guts to call a spade a spade. Any culture that allows for this kind of behaviour is inferior and should be stamped on hard. I will explain to you again the guilty men are not just the rapists they are the left wing right on scum that shielded them for decades .
