No matter what difficulties the Arabs may have with one another, the unassailable fact remains that Israel is a state based on the violent theft of a nation. Not only that, but the theft has accelerated at every opportunity to the point where Palestine and it's people are about to be rubbed out of existence. That was always Israel’s goal and, if the world continues to look the other way, it will succeed. Or, at least, in the short term it will. In the longer term, Israel's fate is sealed and it will pay for its hideous crimes.

We really do live in a f***ed up world where we are expected to believe that up is down, black is white, the truth is a lie and that the stain on the world that is the State of Israel is not guilty of the slow motion genocide of an entire people.

No more appeasements.

No more apologetics.

No more sickening excuses.

No more.

Brilliant. We need more voices like that.
when the Palestinians finally erupt with their pathetic fireworks they get hammered and shredded with state-of-the-art missiles and depleted uranium shells because Israel 'has a right to defend itself' ( whereas Palestine clearly doesn't)
Sums it up.

At a rough guess, around 20% of Labour MPs and 10% of LibDems. Along the the list of Conservatives Biff posted above, that's a lot of people - in positions of power and influence - having the explicit aim of wiping a country off the map.

Of course, the spin is that they're working with Israel to 'achieve a lasting peace', which is like Russell Brand joining 'Friends of Drug Dealers'.

Still, they've got a ceasefire now. Only four Palestinians killed so far.

#Breaking: Over 30 Palestinians killed in Rafah south of #Gaza after the collapse of the ceasefire - Local Media
edit2:
10.48am BST
The death toll from Israeli shelling near the southern Gaza town of Rafah is rising sharply. Reuters is now reporting that at least 40 people have died, which would make this one of the deadliest days of the conflict.

The Israelis do not want peace. They want a Final Solution to the Palestinian Problem.

In their twisted minds, these are the same thing. In reality, their Final Solution would simply create millions more Palestinian refugees living neighbouring countries, and engender worldwide hatred of Jews and Israel. They'll end up with more territory under Jewish control, but they won't be a single step closer to peace or security.

Mark Steel: How Silly it was of me to assume it was Israeli bombs causing all the damage in Gaza
Mark Steel wrote: In recent years most of humanity has become more tolerant of groups who once seemed to be on the margins of society. But until now it’s still been acceptable to be offensive about one minority: the child murdering community.

At last it seems the mood is changing, and finally we’re beginning to hear the child murderers’ point of view.

For example one brave soul, prepared to speak out, is spokesman Uri Dromi, who explained on Radio 4 yesterday that although the Israeli government bombed a school that several children died in, the deaths are clearly the fault of the people who live in the areas being bombed.
