Indeed, breathtaking. I'm pleased there are people with the time and money that enables them to think this way and get airtime.

I don't like the name 'open source'. It may be just me but I can't help thinking that the guy has latched onto a buzzword and is suffering from the 'I only have a hammer therefore the problem is a nail' attitude.

He is prolifically well read, and he understands the problems very well. Better systems thinking than most spook analysts.

Very interesting and hopeful article, but I did have a chuckle that it included a link to buy, for $15, his new book "The Open-Source Everything Manifesto: Transparency, Truth and Trust".
