Scary.
Walking around this morning of March 9th on a morning that is indistinguishable from a mid-May one.
All the birds and plants are going with it, also human children too, which is understandable. All the human adults I've met seem of the same mind though, even after the mild, extremely wet and extremely windy Winter we've just had.
So, in the view that my awareness is spoiling my enjoyment of this wonderful 'gift', maybe I should consider a lobotomy of some sort and get with the programme.

April 2011 had six weeks of cloudless skies here... Summer 2012 was a washout. Seems we may be getting locked patterns of weather due to jetstreams and whatnot?

Some of you have very good memories. I know the weather has been weird for about a decade (or more), but not much about specific years.
I'm a gardener, so I tend to see the weather in terms of that. Last year was a good balance, the year before that was really wet, the one before that was really dry, and before that my memory fails me.
I would like another year like last, but I'm loathe to make any long term predictions

Don't know about the rest of the country, but where I am the balance of rain/sun was just right. Didn't need to do any watering at all, the algae in my water butts hardly got disturbed at all.nexus wrote:Didn't last year have a really late spring, followed by a scorching summer with no rain at all for about 3-4 months?
What you describe sounds like 2011. there was a hard frost on May 1st that almost killed off my emerging potatoes**, then there was no rain at all for most of the summer. the water on my allotment site almost got cut off.
**Actually, it mostly did, it was later shoots that were still below ground that saved the day.

I started tapping the maples today. I had to use snow shoes as there is 18 inches or better of snow pack on the ground with three feet filling in some hollows. Raw and windy with a high about 30F so not yet right for sap flow but it takes time to get it all tapped out so I need to get going.
Potatoes coming up in May? Impossible as we don't plant them before June first.

I do take a small risk with my potatoes. My earlies always go in around March 21st, but as I plant them very deeply, they have little chance of getting frosted until they emerge, if the ground is cold when I plant them this helps to slow that growth. They are also planted in trenches, so when they emerge, it is very easy to lay some fleece over the top if a frost is predicted.vtsnowedin wrote:I started tapping the maples today. My maincrops go in about two weeks after that, but as they are a variety that is slow to start (Sarpo), I rarely see them emerge until about four to six weeks later. It's the earlies I have to take more care with.
Talk about scary........I have seen some real woohoo UFO/Conspiracy/Doomer sites, but I have NEVER come across a thread quite like this!!!

Re: WW3 by March 9th
OP
I forgot to say one more thing. There is a high probability of a major natural disaster happening within the next 2-5 weeks. Timeline suggest it will occur by the end of March but no later than the 11th of April. The target area is California.

From that thread:
Sure, the Crimean vote will favour joining Russia, and that's what will happen. I think it very unlikely the Ukrainian army will engage Russia (why would they, it'd suicide) and no chance NATO will engage. 'We' won't recognise the change of nationality and cold 'tensions' are likely to continue indefinitely.
And as for this:
Sounds like junk to me... I bet this is the same guy who was certain the US and Israel was going attack Iran in 2004,6,8,10... Relations with Iran are better than they've been in decades.WW3 is unavoidable at this point. It will and has to happen. Anyone who believes that we are not in the brink of WW3 in spite of recent events and circumstances is living in a fantasy world. The good news is that WW3 will not start tomorrow and many of you still have time to prepare yourselves. Even though WW3 won't begin on that date that I have put out, 3 out of the 5 events I have originally said in my original post have occurred within the time frame and the rest will follow shortly(I will talk about the Malaysian plane crash in a few). The bad news is that WW3 and the Global Financial collapse will commence no later than 11 days after the March 16th Crimean referendum. The Crimean referendum on the 16th will be the pretext for WW3 as this will allow a legal basis for the Ukrainian-Russian military conflict and NATO intervention inside Ukraine. Once this occurs all bets are off and in retrospect will be looked at as the official start of WW3. Now the Crimean referendum will not be the only pretext event that will occur next week. I'm am expecting 1 to 3 pretext events to occur starting Monday and are the following...
1. Some major news or event coming out of the Middle East( Something related to Israel/Hezbollah/Iran/Syria
2. News related to either the Chinese credit bubble or the Russians initiating a bond sell off and cutting off gas to European countries due to sanctions against them
3. News related to the Malaysian plane crash
Now as far as the Malaysian plane crash is concerned. News will start coming within the next couple of days or so that the Malaysian plane crash was either shot down or exploded in a terrorist attack. If this is the case and seeing how the plane had mostly Chinese passengers, the Chinese will use this as a pretext to establish an ADIZ in the South China Sea and increase their military presence in both the South China Sea and East. This new established ADIZ will be considered an provocation by the U.S, Japan and the surrounding countries and will be another pretext for WW3. They will also use some event or problem relating to the Korean Peninsula as a pretext also.
Also expect the 10 yr U.S Treasury to start creeping up towards the 3% mark or above starting Monday.
Anyone wondering out there how I know this information is real simple. I am a person who knows how to read ''between the lines'' and all of this has been previously foretold by the sacred texts and will come to pass.It is all related to the timeline that we are currently in. Once you have fragments of the blueprint you can get a glimpse on how certain entities will react and how certain events will fall into place. You must understand that in the World Stage it looks real but its all an act. Behind the curtains everyone are friends but in the World Stage that have to make it appear otherwise. TPTB have to fulfill prophecy and that is all there is too it.
I will highly advise you all to start preparing ASAP. TPTB will soon purposely destroy the Matrix and the outcome won't be pretty. Stay safe everyone and may the Infinite One be with you all.

I remember when I was a uni student in the early 70s sitting round with my flat-mates inventing all sorts of wonderfully fanciful scenarios. But the internet hadn't been invented then so our stories never got further than the flat's front door. One lad in particular would have created fabulous websites packed with with information, none of which would bear the slightest relation to reality, just for a laugh. A pity the internet was not there then. I don't think we should assume that the latest generation of 20 year olds are any more sensible and serious than we were.
