The voluntary human extinction movement. Considering the damage humans are inflicting on the biosphere and themselves, is this the best solution available? Not that the majority of people will cease to reproduce in the face of ecological collapse, but it's a step in the right direction, no?

Makes sense

On the negative side you may get rid of some high IQ people.
On a plus side it may get rid of the do gooders who are encouraging our present dysgenic state.

So I'm not sure about it but I am coming round to as many of these idiots dying the better, their well meaning fluffy genes need to be taken out of the gene pool

The people who are concerned about the planet are failing at their efforts to enact mass change and the people in control don't give a damn this very moment.

Many high IQ people are contributing directly to the current problems.

would having more lower IQ people improve the situation you could watch the film Idiocracy

You could also look around the world where lower IQ people have taken over running states or citys from higher on average IQ people, or have become the majority.

I suppose you could say well if people get a really low average IQ they wont be able to run a industrial society, but generally the smart people who dont want to commit suicide flee the the city or country and go off and build something somewhere else .
