I love new music, art, language, literature, insults etc etc. Innovation, new thinking and ideas? Keep 'em coming.

However, forgive me for never, ever wishing to frequent a place such as this.

A burger joint - not just for the usual losers, but for total losers. No human interaction required, sterility guaranteed (particularly if using gm ingredients

) and the crassness is gobsmacking, though that might be a cultural thing with me; apologies to the Japanese if so.

The sheer weight of technology - remember, this is surrounding the simple, basic act of eating - in the video is stunning and will give Tesco some ideas. Roll on the collapse.

It's only one step further than the conveyor belt system of Yo Sushi and the like.

That snack shack can be used as an example of the Jevons effect.

There's also diverging trends of energy expended verses units of GDP created, sometimes showing the energy line actually going downward to make a point - a classic statistical lie.

We increasingly use energy for increasingly useless ends.

Actually the restaurant idea has its merits. It means you can continue to engage with your smartphone without being distracted by the presence of a real person.
