Nearly 53000 sign ups, it's been trending on twitter all day and it's been on most major UK media outlets.

If the definition of success is raising awareness of shell and the Arctic and the terrible environmental cost of their plans, then today has been a total success.

I never buy shell (but then again I choose not to have a car, so it's particularly easy).

On the other hand, if you had a car you could make sure you don't use Shell, but if you use public transport you don't know if you're travelling in a Shell powered vehicle :wink:.

I don't think so. Crude from a Shell prospected oil field does not match to petrol from a Shell-branded filling station.
