Spending review: Osborne the axeman

Ok so under Osbourne the rich are getting richer, the poor poorer. Going into the long emergency it is clear the UK will be a more unequal place, with the north suffering particularly badly.

What do PSers think of Gideon's long term plan?
1. Does he even have one
2. Does he know about PO?
3. Is there any chance now of a managed descent, with an emphasis on sustainability, community building and fairly sharing out what's left?

2. Yes, but if he can create a shale-gas economic bubble it might just see him though the next couple of years before he retires and the bubble bursts.

Anyone who can do this does not have Economics issues. They have Mental Health issues. It sounds funny but I wouldn't be surprised if it came out that he was cruel to small furry animals as a kid. But it's not funny because we are (nearly) all small furry animals now.
