I am delighted to report that the 700-house "development" proposed for the flood plain just down the road, is in stasis. Neither the developer, nor "Highways", will put up the dosh for the roadbuilding that's a prerequisite of the said development (the road leading to it is underwater on a regular basis atm). They then applied for funding from some third body. Who told them to eff orff.
