Civilisational collapse due to overexploiting the environment is not the exception, Sushil. It is the norm. What is happening right now is, obviously, vastly worse in scale than what has happened previously. But, it is entirely predictable in type.
If you want to know when the collapse of our global eco-stystem actually started, Sushil, take a look at the very earliest civilisations and the invention of farming. Farming was the beginning of the large scale destruction of the environment. The last two hundred years has simply seen an massive acceleration of a destructive process that actually started several thousand years ago in Mesopotamia.
However, even if we look back to pre-historic times, before the formation of the first civilisations and the development of farming, we find that those early humans were having a deleterious effect on their eco-systems. From about 100 thousand years ago, when we began to migrate in significant numbers out of Africa, until about 5 thousand years ago when the first major civilisations took off, we managed to push to extinction several major mega fauna species including a number of other hominid species.
We are the destroyers of worlds.

One of them was a female in advanced stage of pregnancy whose foetus came out as the train hit the mother.

All I can say is that we understand how you feel, Sushil. Or at least a lot of us do. I came to about the point you seem to be now when I was 21 (I am now 44) and it completely broke me. I had to choose between suicide and continuing to live in a world where I knew deep down I could never properly belong, because I no longer believed the lies it was founded upon. I knew the ecological apocalypse of which you speak was coming, and I fully expected to see the early stages unfolding in my lifetime. I spent a few weeks in a psychiatric hospital thinking about it, during which I learned a great deal about human nature from the other patients but made very little progress on the problems that actually led me to that place. I eventually decided to just go on, to take things one day at a time, and just accept that there was no way to stop these things from happening.sushil_yadav wrote:.

I wish I had something more positive to say, but I'm not sure what else you can do but learn to accept it, and try to continue living some sort of authentic life. I personally spend a lot of time trying to debunk various false beliefs and help people to understand the seriousness of the problems we are talking about, but at the end of the day what we really need are solutions, and the only solution I can think of involves getting rid of most of the humans.
Gaia is still strong enough to fight back, Sushil.

Millions of acres of Fertile Soil is being killed by Cement, Concrete and Asphalt every day....Nuclear Industry has produced millions of tonnes of Nuclear Waste which will keep contaminating the planet with hazardous radioactivity for the next thousands of years.
