I sabotaged Economic Growth by announcing (to the local bobby who came to the "scene of the crime" at the Plot) that we were not going to buy a new shed. That's what happened.

People here are really happy to see vehicle fuel prices going down. Doesn't it really cheer people up, give them a sense of hope?

A drop in the fuel price nowadays usually means the the markets think the economy is f****d. And people are celebrating??? Ignorance is bliss!!

Indeed. Even at the recent higher price, I would say "Petrol is really cheap" at any opportunity and of course, that makes me the bonkers one, for they know not what I mean.

Some posts over the last few weeks seem to have vanished. Where they go?

Anyway, our ticker has been showing a slow but steady rise this year and is now almost $97.

Brent Crude has shown a steady upward climb over the last two weeks. Up about 5% since 16 Jan.

Up a little more today, to the highest since last May.
Presumably due to the growing tensions in the Middle East and surounding areas.

More likely, due to this: OPEC crude production drops to 15-month low

Now, what the reason for that is....
