It's unbelievable, isn't it?
(Let alone trying to address the causes of SEN).
Heaven help us,
Peter.
So, the answer to failing to address the SEN of children is to pass them over to those specialists in SEN, the military?Labour's idea is based on research by think-tank ResPublica entitled, Military Academies: Tackling disadvantage, improving ethos and changing outcomes.
It argues that military-style academies would open up new opportunities for those lacking hope and aspiration.
It says this new model of schooling offers "one policy solution to the social ills that became manifest at the time of the riots in summer 2011".
It highlights the fact that two-thirds of those who are known to have taken part in the riots were classed as having some form of special educational need and more than a third had been excluded from school during 2009-10.
(Let alone trying to address the causes of SEN).
Heaven help us,
Peter.
Does anyone know where the love of God goes when the waves turn the seconds to hours?

The term Tories is so last century, labour stopped being labour and became conservative light when they got rid of clause 4 pre their election victory in 1997.nexus wrote:Utterly outrageous. FFS when are we actually going to have some kind of choice between the main parties. This is the kind of crackpot and despicable policy you'd expect from the Tories.
Fair point.
I'm tired of people saying that the Labour party had to change to get elected.
The Conservative party plus Neo Labour have completely fncked public life in this country. The privatised utilities, student fees, the NHS privatisation, corruption in the police, media and politics, poor environmental policies, the illegal wars, rendition and torture, erosion of civil liberties and finally the complete and utter omnishambles that has been deregulated financial services, PFI, banking bailouts, balksters bonuses, house price bubble, debt burdens (public and private) and now Libor...........
