Who is interested in a meetup on the afternoon of Sat, 23rd September, with a viewing of 'Inconvenient Truth' beforehand at the cinema?

I think this is the point in which I get forum lynched.....

I can't make it as I'm going for a long weekend in the French Alps.

The people I am going with did however agree to being "educated" for a period of time whilst travelling there and back.

Ok, it's not a good enough excuse, I'll wear a potato sack for the rest of the year.

I've actually changed my stance and believe that the sooner we reach peak the better, both for society directly and indirectly through the environment. I am therefore helping get us there sooner...

That's how I justify my air travel! :D

It could be argued that since we as a society aren?t working proactively to mitigate the problems posed by peak oil a delay only makes the situation worse. If we were currently on the crash programme, then conservation would be key to buy us some valuable time.

It'll be in the afternoon, in central london - more precise times will be available when we have a time/place for the film.
