However, if I have to take my pick I will continue to go with the ethics of the left.
Personally I see right wing poilitics as selfish, destructive, bigoted and shortsighted. But that's just my personal opinion.... but here's the rub...
What you are proposing seems to be, that when the assholes screw the largest majority of humankind in the face... well, they (the plebs) should just chill back and take it.
I disagree. On principle. If a few are inconvenienced then that is just tough. Most of the general population has benefited in some way from active protest....in fact an awful lot of it unpopular to TPTB and some of it illegal.
Where would equal rights for women be? Where would workers rights be? Where would the abolition of slavery be? Child labour? Religious freedom? Parliament? It has all been fought for.
Fought for.
Not given because the prolatariat has pulled its collective forelock particullarly hard.
So JSD, before you slink off with the rest of the sheeple, give a thought to those who make, and have made, a sacrifice for the standard of life you now enjoy.

If I were a corporate shill I would make a point of being polite, friendly and charming, because that is the most effective way of getting people to believe bollocks. It's amazing how few of those paid to deceive are actually any good at it.

We have this type of of law in London already. The Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 introduced Designated Areas - the main designated area being one that stretches from approx Victoria to the National Theatre, 1km radius. No kind of demo permitted, not just Occupy-style.
The Police Reform & Social Responsibility Act also addresses the issue but I understand that SOCPA sections 132 et el are still in force.
