Bike trailers

I'm interested in how you get on with the trailer, especially with the electric bike. Should be a great combination.

I shall do a review on my blog after carting a few loads around on it. Tracy wants to ride on it too, though the manual does say no live animals!

One thing that is neat is that it's supposed to come with 3 brackets, so you can have three bikes set up to use it straight away - so that'll be both our electric bikes, and my MTB as well - though pulling 50+kg of wood up some hills might be hard work on the MTB! I'll probably try it once though, just for fun.

I think it's great! Only thing to note is that the hitch has changed (it's improved), but you now only get one bracket with the kit. You can contact the manufacturer (based in Scotland) for more though.

Good review Mike, well done. Looks like a very simple and useful tool.

Does anyone remember those two-person bikes you could hire at the seaside? I have pictures of my elder sisters sitting in them. They looked really cool (the bikes, that is). They're sat side-by-side on a bench seat.

Great review and really glad you like it. I was a bit worried recommending something I hadn't used myself but it looks fantastic. You should show the review you've done to the manufacturers - they might even give you a free bracket, maybe.

He's done me the extra trailer hitches at cost price, so that's fine by me

Really nice guy who makes them - I think it's a small operation, with the manufacturing in Taiwan, though he does note that it's a family business over there http://www.carryfreedom.com/about.html#4
