No, but I do remember some colourful journalism based on approximately zero science.

I've been holidaying up a hill in Yorkshire today and it has definitely been the wettest day in the Biff Holiday Record. Tomorrow we do the Waterfall Trail. Should be fun.

Come on, Snowhope, explain why you are right and Hansen and Sato are wrong here: http://www.powerswitch.org.uk/forum/vie ... 442#198442

I have just returned from Christmas in that neck of the woods. It stopped raining for one afternoon during ten days. The sky did not clear once (well it did for me, but only because I visited a friend in the West Midlands).

I normally enjoy going walking in Yorkshire, but barely went outdoors this time.

It hasn't stopped raining here for two months. Walking anywhere outdoors is becoming close to a religous experience (on water etc.). The animals are going stir crazy being kept in, the fields are just too wet, won't do their feet any good and will wreck the pasture. The only ones getting freedom are the chickens and they just hang out in the woodstore leaving little presents all over the logs.
Still, it keeps the Jehovah's Witnesses away, but that in turn means the dogs aren't getting their full exercise.

Vile start to the year here: rain and gales, a gashed hand (at least that didn't happen during the gardening season!) and having to pay unfeasibly large amounts of money to HMG. Still, at least the PV hasn't been blown away.

I had to change down a few gears and pedal down a hill I normally freewheel down this morning. I was almost stationary at times on the level bits. The wind seemed to have dropped on the way back, but I'm certainly glad I live east of town, as it's mostly uphill on the way home!
