I suggest we meet up in a pub in Manchester for an anti-capitalism discussion with light refreshments - sometime before the Season of Capitalism gets going in full swing?
My only weekends off before the end of the year are 3 and 10 December (if we're going for a Saturday as usual). Any takers? And can someone from Manc suggest a good real ale pub or should we consult the Good Beer Guide?

Proof you have excellent credentials, you're right. I see you had a good time! Can't wait to hear about it.
Lets do both pubs then.
Afternoon or evening start?

Brothers and sisters!
I checked the calendar of the imperialist pig scum, and luckily they aren't planning to viciously coerce me into working either of those two weekends.
So let's march onwards down that shining path, to the glorious victory of the working class, and the dictatorship of the proletariat!!!
(via the pub)

Yeah.... what he said!
Which day are we going for? 10th Dec is looking better for me, and an afternoon start should be fine.

10th is currently good for me. I realise it is tipping the hat to capitalism . . but I do fancy another Christmas-markets-crawl . . .

I think we could manage a couple of glu wines before we hit the pub.
Mark, are you coming?

Are we going for 10th then? Have put it my iPhone calendar . . . err I mean scribbled it on a bit of slate with a lump of home made charcoal.

Yes, it's on for the afternoon of the 10th.
Starting at the Xmas Market where we'll vote with our wallets and not buy anything (apart from booze)! then moving on to one of the 2 pubs Chris suggested.

10th is in the diary......
Anyone interested in pub choices (or even devising a full itinerary) might like to check out this rather nifty website:

So, getting excited now! Some of Transition Bolton are coming too. What time are we meeting? Andy, did you say 2pm? And where exactly? The Xmas market will be packed so make it somewhere easy to meet up.
