Smart move by govt on pensions?

What can we do to change the minds of decision makers and people in general to actually do something about preparing for the forthcoming economic/energy crises (the ones after this one!)?

By linking pension to earnings instead of inflation, maybe they are thinking that not inflation is going to be at a higher rate than earnings for the future, thus pensions will actually be less not more.

I wouldn?t worry about it, I think the chances of us having a pension when it comes to retier is very slim anyway
The only future we have is the one we make!
