I always thought it was the other way round, and people moved to the right as they got older. It seems to have happened to political parties, so there are no left wing political parties for us to vote for!

That's really useful, biff. I've passed it on to various UK people.

The Irish census is being processed by a firm called CACI. Anyone any information about them?
Found it.

Sounds like they belong, with LM, in that vat of evil which seems to be the USA's most prolific industry.

Why the hell they felt the need to commission a US defence contractor to do a bit of data collection, I do not understand.
Nor me, but I don't like the sound of it. The Patriot Act basically gives the US Government free rein to do anything they like with anybody, with no legal recourse whatsoever. (Among other things, they can force "vaccines" down you and if those vaccines do you any damage or kill you, though shit.)
At least they have a constitution to stick a loophole in.
Not so much a loophole, more a crater. From what I've read, the Patriot Act basically negates the constitution: "If the Government considers it appropriate, it can do whatever it likes to its own people. Its decisions, however arbitrary, are final and unchallengable."

Anyway I realise now it doesn't make any difference what laws a country has or whether it posseses a constitution - if the Government sees fit it simply tears up the rule book, blames some external foe for the new measures, and nobody complains.

+100%

And, thinking about deliberately trying to sabotage Lockheed Martin's efforts, if enough people create problems for LM, the government will simply change the law next time.

Another thought: it wouldn't surprise me if LM have something in the small print that enables them to claim compensation for difficult-to-process forms.

There's one big difference between the English/Welsh and the Irish system: here, each form is collected by an enumerator personally - there's no envelope to post the form back in. It means the enumerator glances through the form upon collection, checking that things look ok. Any deliberate (or otherwise) problems with it are sorted out at the door.

I should fill in your census form before they come round to "help" you. They seem expert in torture techniques .

A bit unusual but not a health issue unless it indicates something gone wrong between your ears. If you get an urge to pay more taxes you should have a thorough check up. :)
Hehehe I'm getting further Left too, there must be an epidemic... :D
I've simply moved further away from politics. The vision of society of both the Left and the Right rests on a single outdated idea - namely, that resources are available to implement it.

From the comments on that site (spelling/grammar as per original):
I am working for the census this year. I wish I had know about this guy or I wouldn’t be. I took the job because I didn’t see the harm in it and I am totally broke, I have no other job. I just wanted to say that census workers earn a flat rate no matter how much work we have to do. So all that extra processing work? It doesn’t cost the arms manufacturer guy a penny while I have a shitload more work to do for nothing. I feel really depressed now that I know about the situation and having a load of extra work dumped on me probably won’t help. I can say for almost certain that it’s not going to cause the bad guy any pain. I wish you’d thought of a way to protest that wasn’t going to affect the people at the bottom of the pile of badly. I also wish I’d known about this months ago. Feeling crap!

IMHO, shouldn't stop anyone filling it in, but be aware that:

People's ex-boyfriends could be any of the above. Last census had a lot of missing men: this one might have a lot of missing women.

I bet they'd talk after a session of waterboarding, or extraordinary rendition!
I wonder if John meant this.
