Monckton didn't get his injunction against the Beeb so Meet the Climate Sceptics is now available on BBC4:

Early in the programme the guy who made this said that what Monckton had to say made him 'feel better'.
Which I suppose is right at the root of it, people will listen to anyone with the slightest semblance of authoritativeness if it enables a retreat to a comfort zone.

I'm watching it tomorrow night with a couple of climate activists. Should be good fun :D. Interesting that it was shown so soon after the Paul Nurse Horizon programme. That will be two TV programmes I've seen in a week .

That'll be good timing. As a sequel you'll be able to compare and contrast Hurricane Katrina and Cyclone Yasi and the behaviour of the US and Australian people.

Climate Scepticism looks like a religious cult, with Monckton as it's leader. Kneeling at the feet of old women in wheelchairs, and all those adoring wrinklies who caused the problem, but will be dead before the worst effects are felt.

He needs to be first in the queue when the revolution comes, even in front of the *ankers .
