Life changing, Peak Oil

Post by Ballard »

Hey, I?m now embarking on phase two, I?ve sold my house. I am moving about 50 yards, over the road.

The new house has a number of peak oil essentials, (in my book) these are:-

? Very small mortgage, this will be reduced from ?135,000 to ?20,000.
? It?s still next to all my fantastic friends and neighbours
? It?s walking distance to train line (easy access to London, small town centre and school etc.
? It?s got a southwest facing rear garden with a stream at the bottom.
? It backs onto my friend?s 4-acre permaculture nature reserve.
? It?s got lots of chimneys, being built at the turn of the century.
? I can extend with a passive solar extension, (planning permission not required._
? Great for renewable energy upgrades.

I don?t mean to crow, but I?m really pleased?
