I got Scottish Power application form online and sent it away once the system was in and I had my MSC number - about 29th August.
It took about three weeks for the agreement to arrive back by post and I dutifully signed it and posted it straight back. It had been posted to me on 16th September and they wanted it back within 7 days and I didn't get it till the 22nd September, so I rang Scottish Power & said that I had posted it but they wouldn't get it within 7 days as I'd only just got it!! The SP person said not to worry and that they'd been innundated with applications, implying that they hadn't anticipated the scheme being quite so popular. :)

Thanks Katie.

Meanwhile we find ourselves truly in the Kingdom of Darkness today: less than 1/4 a kWh from the roof!

Me too - I've been keeping a record of my readings at 8am, noon and 6pm but I haven't bothered today at all. However, tomorrow looks like it just may be OK till 4pm. :)

My record low was 1.19kWh this Monday - until today when I recorded 0.91kWh.!!.
I hope we're all comparing record highs from next May.
