Couldn't we just declare the UK as bankrupt?

Or maybe if we just let the debt build up the bank that loaned us will go under and we can clear the debt that way?

What about a C02 tax, for everything, we could go green, avoid peak oil and solve our debt problems

I don't think one was created for them. They created it themselves, killing quite a few British soldiers in the process. The Israelis were the first Middle Eastern terrorists and the first Israeli prime minister was a terrorist leader. Can't see why they won't negotiate with Hamas then.

I think that numerically, the biggest terrorist attack on British subjects was the bombing of the King David Hotel in, then, Palestine,

Fair enough you guys got a much better knowledge of history than me.

Point is they existed as a group with its own cultural identity for a plenty long time without any borders. As I'm sure have plenty of tribal especially nomadic people throughout the ages.

There is a system waiting in the wings. Don't know about it solving 'our' debt problems and and it's too late to avoid peak oil (not really possible anyway) but TEQs is the best system yet devised to deal with going green.
