You think you going to live forever? Of course it will be a real bummer to transfer to the consumption level of Nepal, but who will be better off? Me who anticipate it or you who gnaw your teeth over it? Whatever we do will not affect the physical outcome.

I'm trying to rebuild a mirror disk on the boot partition of our main database server, and I know our backups are junk.

The server is 10 years old, and even the replacement disk is 6. Hardware and software too old to replace. Nothing is supported. I am the sole survivor of the IT dept, and I am a programmer without any systems training.

I need distracting!

Ironically, the TOD website has just gone down with database problems.

Barbarian hordes thats where its all heading, civilization pah its likely done for, look at how few books survived the roman collapse and that was pretty gradual, migrations wars pillage there wont be much left of civilization .
