"right"

What can we do to change the minds of decision makers and people in general to actually do something about preparing for the forthcoming economic/energy crises (the ones after this one!)?

From where I stand, comments like Gordie just made are sure to inflame the situation!!! Even if I hadn't gone out before, I certainly would do so tomorrow!

The conservatives didn't cover themselves in any glory, and nor with regard to the current financial crisis, or global warming or peak oil (and any of the other big decisions which are heroic leaders - who've just voted themselves a payrise - have failed miserably in). They would have done the same; they just had the good fortune not to be in power at the time,

I'm not for one nanosecond suggesting there was anything right about the Iraq war, but the problems for the mothers of Fallujah mostly arose some time after Bush declared that the mission was accomplished.
