Peak Oil and 911

I've read about a third of it but the PO, 9/11 connection was already cemented in my head and so got a bit bored with and didn't go any further.
Perhaps you can set me straight. I'm all ears.
Still have doubts about oilempire though. A green living, permaculturist would not write such violent criticism.
It's quicker to get through if you skip over all of the excerpts. He provides an outline of how the dirty money system works, then goes through the non-physical evidence to "build a case", pretty much in Columbo style. Some of the scarier stuff about the Patriot Act is outlined as well.
He does later state what he thinks happened, but to prove that would require physical evidence, and it's left as conjecture.
I think the purpose of the book was to get the "word out" about likely 9/11 complicity before the election. With the Keane commission and the election gone, Ruppert declared there was no longer any point in pursuing the story as no impeachment is going to happen, and there was no longer an election to lose. It seemed to me that was the time the rest of the 9/11-truth movement fell out with him.
MacG - thanks for the video, it's very good. I didn't know about the rocket-launch-failure-scenario-opportunism or the ships off Vietnam.

Have you tried pointing out that it's precisely because production can't be increased enough to meet demand that prices have increased to the current levels, yielding the record profits - it's not because they're selling more oil.wayne72 wrote:My evidence is the one that friends, etc. are using to ridicule me with of late, the record profits of the Oil companies!
They think rightly or wrongly that the world is overpopulated. Crashing the US economy is about the consolidation of economic and political power. A total collapse in the value of the US dollar will obliterate the middle class as it did in the great depression of the 1930s. And as in the great depression that wealth will be transferred to the richest one percent.Tess wrote:All this stuff about the elites wanting to depopulate the world and collapse the US economy. Can someone explain why they'd want to do that? Aside from the obviously ecological benefits of course. The motivations of all these conspiracies seem oddly contrarian.
I don't know everything about the plan but I know that the crash that's coming isn't simply a chance occurence. It will be a carefully contrived event designed to bring the US people to its knees.

What does worry me slightly about this is that, it seems that governments or whoever can on the one hand control the world as they like, and on the other hand seem unable to produce a rather nicer outcome. For instance, they are said to be able to bring about Ragnorok (Nordic version of Armageddon), which is surely a rather risky strategy; yet they are unable to produce a powerdown situation (or even prevent recessions and bubbles). Can we have it both ways?dr_doom wrote:I don't know everything about the plan but I know that the crash that's coming isn't simply a chance occurence. Peter.
P.S. What is all this PTB or TBP or whatever?
I dont belive this stuff one second! I think it's an ant heap, not a pyramid. Various actors running around reacting on stimuli. When people act according to seen and unseen rules in the system, it's easy to confuse it with a "plan" being acted out.dr_doom wrote: They think rightly or wrongly that the world is overpopulated. Makes no sense to me. As far as I can see the middle classes are generating wealth for the top echelons, not sucking it away. In my own case, I work for a top investment bank and get reasonably well paid for it, but you can be sure that my efforts generate many times more wealth for the owners of the company than they do for me. Otherwise they wouldn't hire me.dr_doom wrote: They think rightly or wrongly that the world is overpopulated. Crashing the US economy is about the consolidation of economic and political power. Seems to me that if you're an evil overlord then the middle classes are exactly the sort of scam you'd like to perpetuate as long as you possibly can before it all collapses in a messy debt-heap, much like Enron.
Yeah I have, I just forgot to write it down on my post. I also told them the real reason the Oil companies won't invest in more refinaries is because they no its futile with PO eithe here or here soon.Joe wrote:Have you tried pointing out that it's precisely because production can't be increased enough to meet demand that prices have increased to the current levels, yielding the record profits - it's not because they're selling more oil.wayne72 wrote:My evidence is the one that friends, etc. are using to ridicule me with of late, the record profits of the Oil companies!
Enjoy yourself with the time remaining, I've decided I'm going to.
Anyone who's really interested in the Conspiracy side of 9/11 would be better off visiting this forum http://www.alien-ufos.com/forum/ to be honest.

Been thinking more about this entire thing of 911 and complicity and such, and come to a conclusion:
OK, there are enough open questions and mysteries involved in the entire event that I smell a dead cat, but in light of the crimes which followed, it does really not matter. The crimes which followed are so much bigger. Afghanistan, Guantanamo, systematic torture, Iraq, all of it is just so much worse than some 3000 dead americans and a couple of destroyed buildings. It does not really matter who did it since the exploitation of it involve crimes on an entirely different scale.

That's rather like saying that anyone who has a job is a yuppie.wayne72 wrote:Anyone who's really interested in the Conspiracy side of 9/11 would be better off visiting this forum http://www.alien-ufos.com/forum/ to be honest.

I'm not saying the middle class "sucks" wealth away from the richest one percent. If anything, it's the other way around obviously.Tess wrote:Makes no sense to me.
