CAMPAIGNERS yesterday attempted to pour scorn on “tenuous” global warming theories by issuing a dossier detailing 100 reasons why climate change is natural and not man-made.
The list includes the controversial claim that there is “no scientific proof” that rising levels of greenhouse gases are caused by human activity.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I only got half way through.
42) The Met Office asserts we are in the hottest decade since records began but this is precisely what the world should expect if the climate is cyclical
WTF????
45) The increase of the air’s CO2 content has probably helped lengthen human lifespans since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution

Proof?
That's a purely spurious cause and effect of course, but didn't some Russian (or someone) claim that people would live longer if they breathed properly - slowly and deeply so that there was relatively more CO2 and relatively less O2 in the blood?

They would have opposite effects. Breathing slowly would increase the amount of CO2 but breathing deeply would decrease the amount because it would increase the contact area of fresh air and hence oxygen in the lungs.
There aren't actually 100 reasons listed. They are padded out with loads of comments about how policies aren't working, how much it will cost to do anything about it, and that people won't like it.
49) The head of Britain’s climate change watchdog has predicted households will need to spend up to £15,000 on a full energy efficiency makeover if the Government is to meet its ambitious targets for cutting carbon emissions.
51) Wind farms are not an efficient way to produce energy. The British Wind Energy Association (BWEA) accepts a figure of 75 per cent back-up power is required.

He sure did: Buteyko method for asthma management. But he went for shallow breaths through the nose. More CO_2 in the atmosphere (as opposed to in the lungs) apparently results in deeper breathing.
