This is all fascinating stuff but, since as you say it's an old/ongoing story, and your having been with us for nearly two years, why are you only divulging it now? Just curious...

Presumably the use of imported LNG is still currently cheaper than the production of shale gas?

Is it true that, typically, 1/3 of the energy in LNG is lost during cooling/transit?

Sadly I don't think this will help the UK much over the next decade or so.

I have a dark suspicion that here we are facing economic & energy mayhem Real Soon Now for a variety of reasons.

All that LNG, CNG etc that we will find under London, under Mount Snowdon etc may help later on of course.
