Solar Panels ARE expensive, Very expensive but :

- What are your savings making at the moment? (if any of course...)
- People at the power don't seem to take drastic measure or make daring decisions, can't we show them how it is done?
- I spent about a third of my hard earned savings for my panels, but blimme, even if it might only start to pay in 15 20 years, in the meantime I realised a lifetime dream and when the sun shines I look at all these empty roofs and think what a waste!

Very good point. I must do some return-on-investment calculations for solar pv vs my savings...

In any event I'm a lot further from the fake frogs in quebec than you are from the real ones. In terms of distance, you're closer to Baghdad than I am to that lot.

Well, as I am French I don't have much efforts to do, although after 11 years, I am finding it hard to find my words.

About the investment side of things, the solar hot water system is a short time investment, it will pay itself in less than 10 years (5-7) then it's pure benefit. For the PV the term is much longer, but I think at the moment people who install PV on their house do it in a more "green" reason rather that financial, although both are not incompatible...
