Get involved people! https://econsultation.decc.gov.uk/decc- ... intro/view

It's all about the proposed changes to the law so that companies can frack under your land and without fear of you being able to challenge them on it. http://www.wrongmove.org/

A good read of this should provide grist for your mill: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... ersion.pdf

I can post up my responses to their questions if people want inspiration, but I am a thicko layman so I'm sure the some of the clever clogs on here could give some more weight to the discussion.

Done.

Summary: no more FF exploration or extraction ever again anywhere. Bring in TEQs/C&S.

Good work and thanks.

In summary mine was that fracking is disruptive above and beyond the hole they drill (traffic of lorries carrying water, earthquakes, problem with insuring houses against fracking damage, health problems, etc.) and that they should be investing time, money and legislation in sustainable technology rather than in a bubble that'll knacker the climate.

Anyone know if the Labour Party are supporting this? I read somewhere that they were!
