Imagine switching a trillion to subsidising renewables... :shock:

Mind you, a trillion is peanuts/chicken feed/small potatoes/a trifle compared to the amount of subsidy the nuclear industry has received simply to exist.

Any subsidy is usually a good way for someone to line their pockets while being pretty ineffective at the stated aims.

I admit to getting a subsidy for our Solartwin. :oops:

I would have bought it anyway, some time later. 8)

The weather was cold and really windy yesterday - but we got absolutely loads of hot water from it.
