What can we do to change the minds of decision makers and people in general to actually do something about preparing for the forthcoming economic/energy crises (the ones after this one!)?

There are no serious doubts about Biden's mental capacity beyond that which might be expected at that age. Trump though, a different matter. Try listening to one of his 'speeches', then read the text version of that speech. Jesus, he's totally lost it, inchoherent doesn't come close.
Anyway, you're a Putin troll, it's your job so don't go thinking you're being taken all that seriously. No idea why you are still here, this is a tiny corner of a tiny corner of the internet, so really, your propaganda is not reaching a wide audience. Try harder, somewhere else. You'd go down a storm on the Daily Mail website.

“No serious doubts“???
Did you see the debate?
Still think you’re right Dust about those ‘no serious doubts’?
Perhaps you should have a little look about all the other ridiculous propaganda that you’ve swallowed?
You’re really just another cracked mug burning what’s left of the rubbish your own side feeds you
Trump given lifetime immunity from all prosecution for all actions taken formally in the role of president. This will delay any prosecution of the insurrection until after the November election

Why would Trump care about that? It was all bullocks all along.
Why do you think the pixels that you posted there Ralph bear any relation to reality?
After almost all of you driving head on into that car crash debate primly decked out in your prom queen dresses - why bother anymore.
You only ever had the most tenuous grip on reality - and now you’ve totally blown it.
I’ve been telling you that this would be the outcome for months.
I still have no idea why the credulous majority can’t see this absurd Danse Macabre for what it has been all along - and even had the stupidity to try to call me out on this
Err, I report the official statement of the US supreme court and you accuse me of losing touch with reality?
Honestly, I think your bipolar condition is going through mania again.
Trump lodges appeal against his fraud convictions on the basis that some of the evidence against him was official documents from his time as president, and they should not have been shown to the court.

Fair comment Ralph and I take your point and will back off a bit. Thank you. Advice taken. I appreciate it.

You are a very naughty boy.
Blessed are the cheesemongers?
Just to clarify your comment about there being no serious doubts about Biden’s mental fitness to be ‘the leader of the free world’
Is there anything in that comment that you might want to reconsider after his total car crash debate performance?
Or are you still completely satisfied that he has his fingers on the dynamic pulse of the world and his incoherent mumbling accurately reflects the moment by moment decisive reactions to world events that we might hope the last remaining ‘superpower’ can manage in between the total loss of its border security and total loss of face on the international stage?

Heard something on the radio this morning about Biden introducing Zelensky as 'President Putin'. That's quite a stumble.
He then followed it up by calling his running mate "Vice President Trump."
This situation is unreal, even by the standards of modern politics. No reasonable person watching this can come to the conclusion that this man will be able to do the job of President in four years time, even if he were to miraculously make it to the end of the campaign and beat Trump. He shouldn't even be there now. My guess is we are looking at the endgame for him -- I don't see how he can stabilise the situation. We're talking days not weeks.
"We fail to mandate economic sanity because our brains are addled by....compassion." (Garrett Hardin)
There is no way back. Biden has *always* had a bit of a stutter and has been prone to such verbal gaffs all his political life. What's changed is that as he's aged they are becoming a little worse - but he's under incredible scrutiny. Biden's performance hasn't dropped of a cliff, it's just the unprecedented scrutiny means everything becomes front page news.
There is zero chance he's going to talk for an hour without gaffs, and the scrutiny isn't going to let up, so it's over. Harris for President!
