Possession of nitrous oxide to be criminal offence.

What can we do to change the minds of decision makers and people in general to actually do something about preparing for the forthcoming economic/energy crises (the ones after this one!)?

Possession of nitrous oxide to be criminal offence.

I wonder how well this will work in practice. Nitrous oxide does have legitimate uses, so presumably there will have to be exemptions to avoid criminalising such uses.

At large outdoor events, nitrous oxide is supplied by travellers who are a protected species and cant realistically be arrested.

It is already illegal to produce or supply Nitrous Oxide for its psychoactive effects under the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016.
The law makes production, supply and importation of nitrous oxide for human consumption illegal, but not possession.

Why not implement the laws already in place ????
