Re: Tory Armageddon
It's all been going down the tubes since September 2008. All that has happened since then has been a temporary suspension of reality - hanging near the top of the tube by the skin of out teeth.maudibe wrote:Well here we go folks...it all goes down the tube from here on in.

ETA: I just voted. Lots of activity at the polling station and the woman outside said it had been exceptionally busy - "no doubt about it being a high turnout." Which is probably bad news for the tories, because it points to lots of young people voting.
Busy at my local polling station too. However it was school drop-off time...
The weather is not favouring Labour. Cold and wet in the west and North, dry and sunnier in the south east. That may mean labour end up in third place after all.
I expect the Labour vote to be heavily squeezed in my Con/Lin constituency.

Glorious sunshine in Brighton as we send the first Green to Westminster!
I'm expecting the labour vote to be squeezed in lib-con marginals and the liberal vote to be squeezed in lab-con marginals. The electorate aren't stupid...well not all of them anyway.

Should probably put this in The Positive Room, but then again the article does say "non-life threatening injuries", so maybe not.UndercoverElephant wrote:Nigel Farage injured in plane crash:

It's all been going down the tubes for the last thirteen years. Uncontrolled growth has to end sometime and Gordon seems to have made sure the end has come early and it has ended for good.UndercoverElephant wrote: It's all been going down the tubes since September 2008.

Pretty much where I ended up, though it's a fairly loaded quiz.WolfattheDoor wrote:I come out as 79% Liberals which isn't much surprise.emordnilap wrote:Anyone done the party matcher?
