UK Marine Industries Strategic Framework launched

Business minister Ian Lucas yesterday (March 18th) launched a strategic framework for UK marine industries which sets out an action plan for strengthening the sector's global market position for marine renewables.
And, Mr Lucas also announced £4 million of funding from the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) to develop a marine energy building at the University of Plymouth.
