In this article a journalist, talking about the melting of the Arctic, claims
As with anything, Global Warming has two sides, both a negative one as well as a positive one.
The positive one he refers to is the fact that we will banish energy insecurity. For how long he does not say and he also seems to rapidly forget, in his excitement, all the bad things he says earlier in the article will happen to the world through the continued burning of fossil fuels.

It's a shame that the only positive is a positively negative side. We may be short of food, have bad weather events that will exceed all the bad weather events that we have so far suffered and the world's coastal cities may be inundated by rising water levels but at least we won't have to fight each other for fuel for a few years while we add to the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

CRAZY!!

Nothing will change. All policies are geared to allowing BAU to continue. This will continue until it is no longer physically possible. That is all.
