Democracy Now - 09/03/11
Award-winning journalist Naomi Klein has been reporting on global warming and the climate justice movement for years. “My fear is that climate change is the biggest crisis of all,” Klein says. “If we don’t come up with a positive vision of how climate change can make our economies and our world more just, more livable, cleaner, fairer, then this crisis will be exploited to militarize our economies, to create fortress continents. And we’re really facing a choice. What we really need now is for the people fighting for economic justice and environmental justice to come together.”

This lady makes so much sense. I wonder if she'll have my babies?
The trouble is, she looks and sounds like Sarah Palin!

I quite fancy Sarah Palin.... Definitely don't want her to have my babies though.

I've seen NK in real life and I can assure Aurora that she doesn't look like Palin

Maybe I fancy her because she looks like Naomi Klein.

Klein is high on my list of people worth saving.
Aurora, she talks such sense that you soon forget the accent.

Pedantic point: Naomi Klein is Canadian. Sorry.

I prefer it to Estuary English, any day.

Neither of them look their best in those pictures. Anyway, Heaven forbid that I should ever have found Naomi Klein attractive just because of her looks...

Climate change will be a problem in the future only if there is a miraculous discovery of cheap energy which can, first, rescue the economic system and, second, solve the problem of resource depletion. No cheap energy and the whole economic system and it's emissions go down the shoot in a very few years time.
The economic system would also have to get itself out of the hole caused by the banks and debt. On that basis Climate Change isn't a problem so hopefully we won't have to listen to the North American nasal whine any longer.
I quite enjoy muting the sound and watching though. Nice hair, glasses, nice eyes, high cheek bones, wide mouth, strong chin, good figure, the right age, Klein wins on intelligence though, by a mile: can't complain either way. they look more than OK to me, Ludwig. We can all dream I suppose.

Weren't her parents American but got chased out of America for their radical tendencies?
