Second, wanna job as a Carbon-trader?? Same mindset that caused the financial crisis, only this time it's Carbon not money.

Finally, Sustainability manager in Bog-standard firm is forced to quit because he couldn't bear them being so, erm, unsustainable!

Really, it looks as if our entire system is configured to prevent anyone doing the right thing (rushes off to go and sob on Mobbsey's shoulder...)

These articles could almost make you believe that the promotion of AGW by governments has nothing to do with their actual fear of global warming and instead is connected with how useful it is to them in several ways; but perhaps I shouldn't be so cynical.

I could've told you that. It's OBVIOUS to us economist types that carbon trading is nothing more than yet another scam that lets bankers make more money. i.e. commisions on every carbon trade.

A BETTER way to do it, is to let the free market do whatever it wants and make the governments become paragons of greenishness. If we do that, eventually the market will catch up.

The carbon trading is a scam, nothing more, nothing less.
