Last winter we held the first 8-week Surviving the Future: The Deeper Dive online gathering, in collaboration with Vermont's Sterling College.
It proved such a powerful experience that it is now set to be an annual adventure.
This winter we will be joined by Vandana Shiva, Mark Boyle, Isabelle Frémeaux, Nate Hagens, Sherri Mitchell, Rob Hopkins, Tim DeChristopher and Stephen Jenkinson to discuss paths worth walking through our times.
I keep numbers strictly limited for these Deeper Dives to allow for real community among the group, and places for this winter are almost all gone, so if you are keen to join I highly recommend moving fast.
All offered on a trust-based inclusive pricing basis.
And for anyone who misses out, don't fear! We've also now developed a wider Surviving the Future offering through Sterling College, including A Path Through Tumultuous Times, available all year round on whatever schedule suits you.

Re: As all good time travellers know, tiny changes in the present can have huge impacts on the future
There was a post on Facebook on it being acknowledged that time travellers making tiny changes in the past having a big change on the future but people saying that making tiny changes to our behaviour will not be enough to change the future of climate change.
While I can see the argument that only making tiny changes now will not make enough of a difference to climate change in the future, what we need is people who can make big changes to make them while those who can only make those tiny changes need to make those as well.
Every one who can make a change needs to make it.

Re: As all good time travellers know, tiny changes in the present can have huge impacts on the future
Tiny changes to the past would inevitably make enormous changes to the future, but not necessarily to the things that matter. Move the position or velocity of a single atom and you will change the future weather completely, but you'll do it without changing the future of the climate at all.
As far as the climate goes, nearly all of the changes currently being made won't make any difference to the long-term outcome. Reducing the rate of greenhouse emissions makes no difference if the final total emitted is the same, just emitted over a longer period of time. The only thing that can make a difference is leaving carbon in the ground, or somehow permanently removing it from the atmosphere.
I suspect that the tiny changes in the present that really could have huge impacts on the future are cultural/political. Just imagine what would happen if a few very high profile persons started talking publicly about the true scale of our predicament.
