I was thinking of buy a one to add to my existing 24W amorphous panels . They seem cheap . I can say the amorphous panels Maplin sell for £29.99 are pretty good but bulky for their power output, so I want to try these mono panels.
Any opinions ?
Whats wrong with these solar panels ?

The spec looks OK, but I never really trust fleabay for anything technical, no matter how good the feedback appears.
Whilst I would not wish to slander any particular fleabay seller, it is my experience that technical data/ratings etc are often "cut and pasted" from other peoples catalogues, and may bear little resemblance to the actual goods sold.
The PV module illustrated looks to me as though it consists of only 4 cells, rather than the 33/34/35/36 cells that would be required for charging a 12 volt battery.
I may of course be mistaken, or the module illustrated may not be the one for sale but "another part of our range"
It might be worth emailing the seller and enquiring "how many cells does the module consist of ? the illustration appears to show a four cell module which would have an output of only about 3 volts"

Tell me about the
AEP in the Telegraph is always going on about there being ndustry-wide manufacturing overcapacity (as the reason to fear deflation rather than inflation). I wouldn't be at all surprised if overcapacity wasn't applicable to renewables, so tell me the good news!scott wrote:global shortage on pv panels at present
