Hats off to you, thinking about investments in a time of financial insecurity No, seriously, I mean it, cause my friend deals with heat pumps and hit a massive pullback in orders, because people are too afraid to invest big amounts of money even at the promise they will be repayed soon.

I would be very wary, no I am very wary, about buying a heat pump in any circumstances because of the loss of generating capacity which we face in the next 5 to 10 years as the coal and nuclear power station come off line. In the current financial circumstances it is even less likely that the required investments will be made in time to keep the lecky going. No lecky, no heat pump, no heat! Simple as that.
